BEFORE CARE

For best results:

~Shower (It is best to avoid body washes that contain a lotion or oil)

and shave 4 hours prior to your Spray Tan.

~Shave before washing yourself, so you will be able to wash off any

dead skin and residue from products.

~If waxing, please allow 48 hours BEFORE you get your Spray Tan.

~Exfoliate well!! It is recommended to use "SOUTH SEAS Bora Bora Body Polish"

which can be purchased from us ahead of time.

~DO NOT put on any lotions or deodorants before your tan

(deodorant can be lightly applied an hour after your Spray Tan).

~Remove ALL make-up before your session.

(Do NOT re-apply your make-up after your Spray Tan,

until you have processed for the full 8-10hrs.)

~If showering right before your Spray tan use cool water to rinse off.

This helps to ensure that your pores are closed before your Tan.

AFTER CARE

~Your tan will last approx 7-10 days or longer with proper maintenance

and use of SOUTH SEAS "after-care" products.

~After your spray tan DO NOT shower, swim, and

avoid perspiring for at least 8-10 hours.

~For the first shower following your Spray Tan, if possible, just do a warm

rinse and wash personal areas with a mild or moisturizing soap.

~When you shower DO NOT use hot water or any type of exfoliate

product this can fade your tan faster. Be gentle and DO NOT scrub.

~After showering, blot dry with your towel, air drying is preferred.

~After showering DO Apply "SOUTH SEAS Moorea Moisturizer" liberally

to hydrate your skin twice a day to prolong your tan.

~Time spent in hot tubs or Jacuzzi’s, saunas or swimming pools

with chlorine may shorten the duration of the tan,

so using "SOUTH SEAS Tahitian Tan Extender" two days after

your tan is highly recommended.

~Use "SOUTH SEAS Tahitian Tan Mist" to touch up your face, hands,

legs and feet when your color begins to fade.

~Excessive sweating anytime after your spray tan may cause it to rub off on

clothing, but it DOES wash out!

WHAT TO WEAR

~For women, clothing is optional.

Please Note: Where ever you leave clothing or jewelry on,

will NOT get Sprayed and will leave distinct tan lines.

~Bring a dark swimsuit or undergarments to your session.

Thongs are acceptable.

(We offer disposable bras and thongs for your convenience)

~Bring flip flops/sandals to your session.

(We will have sandals available for purchase)

~Wear dark, loose fitting clothing (Examples: Dresses, skirts, shorts,

baggy pants/sweats, baggy t-shirts, loose-fitting sweatshirts or zip up's)

(avoid wearing a bra, if possible, and DO NOT wear lace,

silk, or white material... Our solution is water-soluable and

washed out of MOST, but NOT ALL clothing.

TANNING FACTS

~The spray tan is applied by owner Danielle, a SOUTH SEAS

certified professional, in just minutes!

~You can pick your own shade, from a soft glow

to an off-the-beach bronze.

~The Spray tan will last approx seven to ten days or longer

with proper care and use of SOUTH SEAS "Tan Extender"

and "Moorea Moisturizer".

(SOUTH SEAS products are available to purchase at the time of your Tan.)

~Your skin dries quickly, will NOT feel sticky and

does not leave a foul smelling odor.

(Note: you will have an unfamiliar smell for the first 8-10hrs after your Spray Tan,

but not to worry, this odor will go away after your first wash).

~The Tan will fade similar to that of a natural sun tan

when given proper after care.

~It does NOT streak. Your tan will be prefectly even,

just like you spent the day in the sun.

~The primary active ingredient in our solution and in most

self tanners is DHA (dihydroxyacetone), produced from pure sugar cane

and is FDA approved for self tanning applications.

~DHA works with the amino acids in your skin to produce a natural

looking tan with NO orange discoloration.

~There have not been any reported side effects from the use of DHA.

~If you have ever had an allergic reaction to self tanners, we recommend

that you abstain from spray tanning.

~If you are breast feeding, you MUST let me know before your tan,

so I can properly avoid or cover your nipple area.

~If you have just had surgery or abrasive skin work, including a facial

it is best to consult your doctor prior to Spray Tanning.

~It is NOT recommended to Spray Tan any areas that have open sores

as this may cause an infection.

~Spray Tanning with SOUTH SEAS is safe for all ages.

concerning skin conditions...

Please consult your doctor and provide written permission by your physician.

~If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent/guardian present.

~Women who Tan, clothing is optional. Please Tan at your comfort level.

~Men who Tan, bottoms of some sort are REQUIRED!!

(Boxers, speedo, or thong is acceptable).
